Mike Barford's long running and excellent site showing his vast collection of lanterns as well as loads of photos, articles and videos of streetlighting, mainly in the Derby area. There are many examples of 'Survivors of the past' and coverage of the rapid changeover of Derby's Lighting as part of the new PFI contract in place. The interesting thing about this site is the lack of SOX lighting in the area which is totally different to Bedfordshire and the surrounding area.
